Welcome to LSE's Consent.Ed programme. All students who come to LSE are asked to complete Consent.Ed before arrival.
This is the 'Staying Safe at Summer School' online Consent.Ed module. All Summer School students are expected to complete this online module before arriving on campus.
This online module covers information on what support is available during your time at LSE and how you can report any incidents of harassment, discrimination, bullying or sexual misconduct to the School. The module also covers some key tips for staying safe in London and guidance on how to be an active bystander.
The module goes on to cover important content on consent and sexual violence. Sexual violence is never acceptable and at LSE we take this very seriously. At LSE we empower our students to learn about seeking and giving consent. The course aims to empower students to make positive decisions about their own relationships and interactions with others.
You will be provided with a content warning before moving onto the course section on consent and sexual violence. We understand that sexual violence can happen at any time in someone's life and due to the sensitive nature of the content, not everyone feels comfortable to take part. If you would like to opt-out you can exit the course when you reach this point. However, it is important to familiarise yourself with the support and report information covered in the earlier part of this course.
Our Independent Sexual Violence Support Service can provide support to anyone who has been impacted by sexual violence at any time in their lives. Information on self-referral can be found on the webpage.
This training takes approximately 25 minutes, but you can complete it at your own pace.
LSE is here to support you. All information related to support and reporting can be found here: Report and Support
